Subscription

How does the free trial work?

Cadence is free for your first 2 weeks. After that it renews as the monthly or yearly plan you picked, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Prices are shown in the app before you start.

How do I cancel or change my plan?

In Cadence, open Settings and tap Manage subscription. You can also do it on your iPhone in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple.

I paid but the app is still read only

Open Settings in Cadence and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you subscribed with.

What happens if my subscription ends?

Nothing is lost. Everything you planned stays in the app to look through and save as a backup. You need a subscription to add and edit.

Your iPhone and iPad

My posts aren't showing on my other device

Cadence keeps your devices in step through your own iCloud. Check both are signed in to the same Apple Account, that iCloud is switched on for Cadence (Settings, your name, iCloud), and that both have an internet connection. Changes usually arrive within a minute or two of opening the app.

I see the same content pillar or label twice

This can happen for a moment when a new device is set up before it has synced. Cadence tidies it up by itself once both devices have caught up.

Your data

How do I back up my calendar?

In Cadence, open Settings, go to Your data and tap Save a backup. Save the file somewhere safe, such as Files or iCloud Drive. Restore from a backup brings it back.

How do I clear the example posts?

Tap Remove the example posts on the Home page, or find it in Settings under Your data.

Can Cadence post to TikTok or Instagram for me?

No. Cadence is a planner. It never asks for your social media logins, so you post as you normally would and tick the post off in the app.
