Cadence

Privacy policy

Last updated 17 October 2026

Cadence does not collect, sell or share your data. We never see what you put in the app.

What the app stores

Everything you enter stays on your devices: your posts, dates, captions, notes, content pillars, labels, series, collabs (including contacts, fees and briefs), view counts, ratings and the answers you gave when you first opened the app.

iCloud

If you are signed in to iCloud, the app keeps a copy in your own private iCloud storage so your iPhone and iPad stay in step. That copy is held by Apple under your Apple Account. We have no access to it. You can turn this off for Cadence in your device's iCloud settings, and the app then keeps everything on that device only.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no accounts of its own, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It does not contact any server of ours. The only services it talks to are Apple's: iCloud for syncing and the App Store for your subscription.

Subscriptions and payments

The free trial and subscription are handled by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see your name, email address or payment details. The app asks Apple, on your device, whether a subscription is running. Apple gives us sales totals that do not identify you.

If your subscription ends, your data stays in the app. You can still look through it and save a backup.

Notifications and widgets

If you turn on reminders, the app sets notifications on your device for your posting times. Widgets show a small copy of your plan that the app keeps on your device. Nothing is sent to us.

Backups

"Save a backup" makes a file containing your data and saves it where you choose. What you do with that file is up to you.

TikTok, Instagram and YouTube

This version does not connect to your TikTok, Instagram or YouTube accounts and never asks for those logins. View counts are typed in by you. A link you save with a post or collab opens in your browser when you tap it.

Children

The app is not aimed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.

Deleting your data

Delete the app to remove its data from your device. To remove the iCloud copy, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then iCloud, then Storage, and delete Cadence's data there.

Changes

If a later version adds features that change any of this (for example connecting to TikTok or Instagram, or planning help that sends your calendar to a server), this policy will be updated first and the app will ask before anything is sent.
